Late 19th Century Round Mahogany Dining Table

F2031. Large Round Mahogany Dining Table, 60' diameter, having a beautiful round
overhanging top with beautifully figured cross cut and straight cut boards, mounted
on a skirt with cock beading at the lower edge. The mahogany pedestal base has a
massive hexagonal faceted vase shaped stem, set into a cove turned collar, mounted
on a plinth base with wide scroll legs and concave sides. The top divides for three
large leaves. The top and base may not be original to one another, but are of the
age and quality. This is a beautiful and sturdy table in a very large size that would
seat 7-8 without being opened for the three large leaves!
