English early 19th Century Bristol blue glass decanter

English early 19th Century cobalt-blue glass decanter, probably of Bristol origin, blown-molded with ribbed rectangular walls with low tapering shoulders and a short neck with a wide pinched pouring lip.  Hand painted in gold with a banded oval inscribed wtih "RUM," and finished with a gold edging on the lip.  Dating is c. 1810.  Excellent condition except that for wear on the gold.  Measures 6 1/4" tall and 2 3/4" square. $145.00
