American Northwood Frosted Rubena Royal Oak pattern glas tumbler, paneled with oak leaves angled in arches, on heat-sensitive glass with deep cranberry-red "rubena" shading and acid-finished for "frosted" surface.
Made by Northwood Glass Compay in Martin's Ferry, Ohio. A "frosted" or satin-finished rubena pattern tumbler which is identical to this tumbler is shown in figure 98 of "Harry Northwood, The Early Years, 1881-1900, by Heacock and Measell and Wiggins. Good condition. Measures 3 3/4" tall and 2 5/8" diameter. $55.00
