Amberina glass Reverse Swirled Rib Mug

Victorian Amberina glass Reverse Swirled Rib pattern lemonade mug, circumscribed by sixteen blown-out reverse swirled ribs in heat-sensitive "amberina" colored glass of amber, becoming cranberry-red on the upper walls, and mounted with an applied "C"-shaped tightly roped handle finished with an exuberant short scroll folded beneath the lower application.  Wheel-polished pontil.

   Dating is late 19th Century to early 20th Century.  Good condition.  Measures 5 1/4" tall, 4" long and 2 3/4" diameter. $175.00
