19th Century Furniture
F1193. Early One Piece Cherry Corner Cupboard,
having a beautiful cove molded top with upper
beading, above two glass doors, each having five
old glass panes or "lights" on each side and a
mushroom pull on the left side, and with three
fixed shelves. The doors are flanked on each
side by carved reeding which resemble columns.
The interior is painted a salmon color.
Below the glass doors are two paneled blind
doors, each with a mushroom pull and interior
chamfering. The upper case is separated from
the lower case by a narrow strip of molding,
and terminates in cut-out feet.
Refinished cherry with poplar and pine as
secondary woods. 83" high x 44 1/2" wide.
Circa 1815-1825.
