G2085. Bohemian Art Glass tortoise-shell pitcher, created bvy lining an opaque dark brown glass layer in white glass, blow-molding the double-layered gather in a diamond quilted mold, suggesting shaded brown "tortoise shell,"adding an outer casing of colorless glass, and expanding to a baluster-shape which is punctuated by a dramatic applied white glass scroll-form"strap" handle cresting at the top of the neck opposite to a small pouring lip. Wheel polished pontil.
Dating is late 19th Century tp earlyh 20th Century. Good Condition. Measures 8" tall, 63/4" long and 5 1/2" diameter.
